Tiziana Luxardo signs the new Codacons calendar for 2021, entitled Italienza.
The word, a fusion of Italianness and resilience, contains the meaning of the project dedicated to the desire for redemption of the country struggling with the pandemic.
The protagonists of the twelve plates in black and white, a distinctive feature of the style of the Roman photographer's work, are as many girls who pose symbolically in a postcard complete with a stamp, referring to a time that no longer exists, in which greetings were written and not sent with the mobile phone.
The calendar, distributed free of charge by Codacons, is also available to the public on the website of the consumer association.
For many years Tiziana Luxardo has been carrying out awareness campaigns with Codacons on important social issues, including the fight against bullying and the fight against violence against women.
From this partnership projects such as 'We are men or corporals' (2016) were born, against the exploitation and violence against women in the Italian countryside; 'Bulli e pupe' (2017) on the theme of bullying, 'The redemption of Aphrodite' (2018) on sexuality seen from the eyes of the disabled, 'At dawn I will win' (2019), against ludopathy; 'Si selfie chi can' (2020) on the unconscious use of social networks.
