"A bit like Berghain," is how Robbie Williams imagines the club he wants to found in Berlin.
In an interview with the German Press Agency, the 45-year-old reported on big plans: “I'm going to start a band and be a DJ and want to rent rooms in Berlin, a gallery with my art, and in the evening it will be a club. «
In a live session on Instagram, he revealed more details, according to the "Bild" newspaper: He will team up with the Australian songwriters and producers Flynn Francis and Tim Metcalfe "on a project out of passion".
There is no name yet, but the first songs are ready.
The new band will be seen at “certain venues” all over the world, except in Berlin he can also imagine the combination of club and gallery in Tokyo very well: It “should be a musical place, something that the old ones did People will call a rave. "
When and where exactly it starts is unclear, however.
In the dpa interview, he indicated that the corona crisis had delayed the project.
