The deepest diving pool in the world opens in Poland (Deepspot)
When you think of diving, Poland is not the first place that comes to mind.
However, a new attraction has recently opened in the country, boasting the title of "the deepest diving pool in the world".
As such, it allows divers the opportunity to practice deep diving, just like at sea, but without really dipping into the ocean, where conditions are complex and sometimes more dangerous.
In addition, its waters are particularly clear, which creates the illusion of levitation in space.
The pool, named Deepspot, opened in the town of Mszczonów near Warsaw.
It reaches a depth of 45.5 meters and is programmed to be a training pool for divers of all levels - from children with no previous experience in diving to professional divers.
It will be possible to dive to a variety of depths, according to the level of each diver, as well as with the help of professional guides.
Scuba diving enthusiasts are also welcome to visit the pool.

Hot water and an observation tunnel
The waters of the pool are warmer than those in regular pools, so divers will not have to wear wetsuits.
In this way, it is suitable for visiting all year round.
And those who do not want to dive themselves, are welcome to visit the place and walk inside an underwater tunnel.
Also on site: conference halls and a hotel, whose guest rooms overlook the pool.
The Lonely Planet website reports that planning and setting up such an ambitious venture has been particularly challenging.
The company that set up the project said that building a pool at such a depth brings with it engineering difficulties.
In addition, in order to maintain the high clarity of the water, it was necessary to implement a particularly advanced water marking system in the pool.
One way or another, it seems that in the near future, the Polish pool will have a hard time maintaining its title.
This is because in 2022 a similar pool is expected to open in the UK, with a depth of 50 meters.
