(ANSA) - LONDON, DEC 10 - Banksy returns to strike in his native Bristol, England, with another work dedicated to the world at the time of Covid and an ironic reference to the social problems that the pandemic amplifies.

This time with a graffiti titled 'Aachoo !!'

(English version of the sound of a big sneeze) appeared on the greenish side wall of a suburban house in Vale Street.

A mural identified first by some passers-by and by citizens residing in the area, and then by the mysterious artist - of whom very little is known, beyond the place of birth and the traces of the public, social and pro-immigration commitment that characterize its action - claimed paternity through the usual Internet channels: his website and his Instagram profile.

The drawing depicts a pensioner who, with a handkerchief on her head, sneezes while her bag and a shopping bag fall, with a spray effect that stretches over the building and the street below: the steepest in all of Great Britain with 22 degrees of slope.

Not without the detail of a denture that flies from the mouth of the unfortunate grandmother and that of a man with an umbrella in his hand pushed away by the improbable movement of air.

The building, thus decorated, has now become a metad'interest and curiosity.

And it could increase the value of the property on which it was traced, put up for direct sale.

A former tenant, Fred Loosmore, a 28-year-old carpenter, has meanwhile taken steps to protect the graffiti with clear acrylic enamel.

"It is a very nice work of art. And also significant, isn't it?" He commented to journalists who asked him.
