    massive restrictions on

public life in order to stop the rapidly growing number of infections with the corona virus *.

remain open nationwide in December - provided the incidence value allows.

Hairdressing salons remain open in December, provided the infection situation permits

Update from December 11th:

In view of the rapidly increasing number of corona infections throughout Germany,

hairdressers

must also

tremble again about their opening

.

Hairdressing salons remain open under the existing hygiene requirements in partial lockdown - but only if the infection situation permits.

From an incidence value of 200, the state governments can stipulate exemptions for so-called hotspots.

In Baden-Württemberg, for example, hairdressing salons have to close nationwide from this value.

Stricter rules for hairdressers since December 3rd

The rules for visiting the hairdresser have also been tightened again.

As the Handwerksblatt reports, services

close to the

face such as

eyelash tinting, eyebrow tinting / plucking or manicures are no longer allowed

Shaving and beard care

may only be carried out under special safety precautions.

Hairdressers must wear at least an FFP2, KN95 or N95 mask, supplemented by protective goggles or a face shield.

Since December 3rd, a

minimum distance of 1.5 meters has also been

stipulated

between the employees of a hairdressing salon

.

Previously, this only applied to contact with customers.

Customers now also have to wear face masks in front of shops and in the parking lot.

For sales areas over 800 square meters, only one person is allowed per 20 square meters.

Hygiene and infection protection in the workplace: New rules in the corona crisis

Washing the hair of each client is mandatory

The Central Association of the German Hairdressing Trade is convinced of the effectiveness of the new standard: "We are certain that the new safe hairdressing services will be guaranteed in the pandemic *," said Jörg Müller, General Manager of the association.

For example, by making it mandatory for every customer to wash their hair, possible viruses should be killed there.

According to Müller, the

fact that customers

should

leave

their

contact details at the hairdressing salons

is just as important for security.

In this way, chains of infection could be traced.

"Customers can only be served if they agree to the documentation," says the occupational safety standard.

According to Müller, regulatory authorities and the employers' liability insurance association should then check whether the standard will be complied with from May.
