Corona test in Detmold's laboratory (in May): 65 of 165 visitors tested positive

In the Lippe district, numerous visitors to a church service in a free church were infected with the corona virus.
According to reports from the "Westfalen-Blatt" and the "Lippische Landes-Zeitung", more than a third of the participants were later found to be infected.
In Lippe, North Rhine-Westphalia, a night curfew has been in effect since this Saturday - as the first district in the state.
The so-called incidence value there has been above the mark of 300 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants within a week for days.
Overall, most of the religious communities in the district would observe the Corona rules of conduct, said district treasurer Rainer Grabbe to the "Westfalen-Blatt".
That applies, for example, to the Catholic parishes, the parishes of the Lippe regional church and the mosque associations.
Most of the 80 or so free churches in the district would also know the seriousness of the situation and act accordingly, the newspaper quotes the chamberlain.
In this respect, the free church concerned is apparently an exception. »On November 22nd, there was a free church service in Lippe, in which 165 people took part.

According to the Lippische Landes-Zeitung, the community is located in Pivitsheide near Detmold.
In the past few months, mass infections with the corona virus had occurred more frequently, especially in evangelical free churches.
In Frankfurt am Main, for example, more than one hundred participants in a church service tested positive.
