The meeting between Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, the heads of delegation and the Minister for Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia was called at 7 pm.

On the table the possible exceptions to the travel restrictions at Christmas.

The hypotheses of exemptions on travel affect over 10 million Italians who live in small municipalities with less than 5 thousand inhabitants, which is about 69% of the total of Italian municipalities.

This is what emerges from an analysis by Coldiretti / Fondazione Divulga in reference to the hypothesis of overcoming the ban on travel to the areas adjacent to small municipalities at Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year.

The Abruzzo proposal: in the yellow zone from 21/12

- "The position of Abruzzo is that in assigning the membership band, real epidemiological data should be taken into account. With this spirit we decided to anticipate the red zone with effect Wednesday 18 November without waiting for the next report from the Control Room. By accepting this version, Abruzzo could return to the yellow zone at the latest on Monday 21 December ".

To support it is the Governor of Abruzzo, Marco Marsilio.

"With respect to the position of the Region - explains Marsilio - Minister Speranza replied that he maintains his willingness to consider Wednesday 23 December as the starting deadline, recognizing the effects of the autonomous anticipation of the red zone but without 'derogating' from the duration of the periods of 'permanence' ".

In Milan, queue for an aperitif in the center

- In Milan, as in all of Lombardy, with the entrance to the yellow zone, from today we return to have lunch at the restaurant and to have an aperitif or coffee at the bar, but until 6 pm. The center of Milan, also thanks to the beautiful sunny day after so many rainy days, was literally stormed by people: there are those who walk, those who buy Christmas gifts and those who return to make the ritual of the aperitif .

At Camparino, a historic venue in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, there is a queue of people ready to enter to drink a cocktail at the counter or sit at the table in the outdoor area.

Among them is Paolo in the company of a friend: "we really missed the aperitif at the bar and so this morning we went out to treat ourselves to one".

In Rome shopping rush, traffic and crowds in the center

- Full house even today in the center of Rome, also thanks to the sunny day.

Traffic in the central streets and crowded shopping streets, for the hunt for Christmas gifts.

In the checks ordered by the Quaestor to verify compliance with social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment, as part of the anti-covid measures, yesterday 665 people were identified and 121 businesses checked.

Crowd in the center of Bologna for shopping

 - Center of Bologna crowded on the penultimate Sunday before Christmas, with 'rivers' of people who from late morning poured into the streets of the pedestrianized "T" zone to shop and stroll, taking advantage of the day of sunshine and restaurants open for lunch.
