(ANSA) - ALGIERS, DEC 13 - The Algerian president, AbdelmadjidTebboune, today gave a televised speech, his first public appearance since he was hospitalized in Germany for Covid-19 almost two months ago.
"Thank God ... I have begun the road to recovery," said the 75-year-old president, visibly thinner, on the day of the first anniversary of his election. "I am inconvalescence, it may take another two or three weeks but, God willing, I will recover all my physical strength", he added. (HANDLE).
