Should people who have contracted the corona virus and recover also be vaccinated?
This is a question that has occupied researchers and doctors throughout the past year.
So far there is no complete or definite answer to this question.
But physician and researcher Dr. Sarah Boyd of St. Luke's Medical Center in the city of Kansas, a nonprofit institution for the care of patients, believes the answer is yes.
In an interview with the KSHB network, the doctor said: "I also recommend to people who have already started getting vaccinated after the rest of the population has done so.

Why get vaccinated after recovery?
According to Dr. Boyd, “We know that people are immune to corona after being ill for about 90 days.
We do not know now whether the immune response and the body's knowledge to fight the disease are maintained for a longer term.
I assume that the more we explore the corona, the more we will understand, and in any case, the more we examine people over time, the broader the knowledge will be. "
Amanda Finley of Kansas, who has been infected with corona twice, was also interviewed by the channel and noted that although she is currently healthy she intends to get vaccinated.
She said, "I will be among the first to get vaccinated. This disease is really not the flu and I do not want to get it again, it affects the muscles, the heart, the brain. It is not something that can be easily solved."
