ROME - The scenic effects, the fascinating scenography, a large orchestra and the magic of Christmas: Andrea Bocelli with "Believe in Christmas" brought to the Teatro Regio di Parma a spectacular concert followed in global streaming by over 70,000 unique accesses, connected by more of 100 countries in the world, for an estimated 200,000 people in front of their respective devices (incredible numbers for a concert with classical music ticketing).

The artistic direction, signed by the visionary Franco Dragone, was able to create a grand-operà setting, immersing the viewer in a wonderful dream of colors and suggestions.

The setting was the Teatro Regio, one of the most prestigious stages in Italy and the only one in the peninsula to host a world-famous festival dedicated to Giuseppe Verdi.

During the evening Bocelli alternated the performance of some songs contained in his latest album "Believe" with the most famous Christmas songs, also reached on stage by great guests such as Zucchero ("White Christmas"), Cecilia Bartoli ("I Believe "and" Piano Pianissimo "), the French soprano Clara Barbier Serrano (first recipient of the scholarship established at the Royal College of Music in London by Community Jameel and Andrea Bocelli Foundation) and the Ukrainian violinist Anastasia Petryshak.

Narrator of the whole show was little Virginia, daughter of the tenor, who also duet with him on "Halleluja", in the version of his new album "Believe".

The finale gave all the magic of Christmas with White Christmas, Cantique De Noel and Adeste Fideles and the arrival of snowflakes on stage.

"Believe in Christmas" was produced by UK-based pioneering company Driift (which has followed acclaimed events for Nick Cave, Niall Horan, Dermot Kennedy, Biffy Clyro), in partnership with Maverick Management and Almud.

The choreographies were created by Tiziana Pagliarulo (who also co-directed with Dragone), while the scenic settings were created with the collaboration of Filippo Baracchi.

The creation direction was handled by Filippo Ferraresi.
