(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 14 - There are 12,030 coronavirus swab positives in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health, while the threshold of 65 thousand deaths in Italy is exceeded: with 491 daily victims there are now 65,011.


    103,584 swabs were carried out in Italy, down by about 50,000 compared to yesterday.

The positivity rate is 11.6%, stable compared to 11.7% the previous day.


    Yesterday the positives were 17,938, the victims 484. In total, 1,855,737 cases since the beginning of the epidemic in Italy.

The currently positive are 675,109 (-10,922), the recovered and discharged 1,115,617 (+22,456).

In home isolation there are 644,249 people (-10,889).


    There are 3,095 patients in intensive care, with a balance of -63 units in the last 24 hours.

There were 138 daily admissions to resuscitation. On the other hand, 27,765 hospitalized patients with symptoms in ordinary wards, an increase of 30 units compared to the previous day.
