Christmas: Deadlines for letters and parcels - deliver items abroad earlier
If you want to send gifts to family or friends who live
outside of Germany
, you usually have to hand them in earlier.
DHL
delivers parcels to neighboring countries on time if they have been handed in by December 14, 2020 at the latest.
For other European countries, the deadline was December 10th, 2020.
With premium shipping, it even works until December 18, 2020.
DPD
recommends December 18, 2020 for international shipments.
At
Hermes it
is December 15, 2020.
GLS
delivers
parcels
to neighboring EU countries that were submitted by December 18, 2020 on time.

Sending parcels before Christmas: Avoid long queues in front of post offices
