(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 15 - The ECB "asks banks to avoid or limit the distribution of dividends until September 30, 2021", with a limit set at 15% of cumulative profits 2019-2020 and a maximum of 20 basis points of capital Cet1.
Losi reads in a note after the decision of the Supervisory Board on the dividend policy, which rejects the recommendation to banks to use "extreme caution" on dividends and share buybacks as well as on the variable remuneration policy.
