Despite Kensington Palace not making an official greeting, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sent the Christmas card to various recipients, who shared it on social media.
Some fan accounts on Instagram shared the image of what appears to be the royal family's Christmas greeting card.
In the image, Prince William and Kate Middleton appear hugging their children and as usual the smallest of the family fell in love with their tender smile.
The inside of the holiday card is addressed to all the amazing staff of the NHS (National Health Service), the UK's National Health Service.
In the background, some media speculated that the photo was taken at his residence in Anmer Hall.
The five members of the family, including two direct heirs to the British throne, are sitting in front of a pile of firewood.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's dedication reads, "To all the fantastic staff at the NHS. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
In addition, according to some media, he also carries a special message from the grandson of Queen

"This is a very important day," said the 94-year-old queen.
"It shows how vital the role nurses play around the world is, so they must be very proud of the work they do and thank you very much from us," Middleton told a trio of nurses in the Bahamas.
The mother of three also joked about getting help from the ex-wife of a healthcare worker, who is a teacher.
"I really like that you come help me," she said with a smile, referring to the challenges parents have faced with homeschooling their children while schools remain closed during social isolation as a way to avoid the spread of the virus.
"From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all that you are doing," said Prince William, in a call to staff at a London hospital.
"I hope you know how grateful we are all for what you are doing," he added.
