The largest shipment of Pfizer vaccines is expected to land tomorrow (Wednesday) in Israel and include between 300,000 and 400,000 doses.
It is estimated that the immunization operation on Sunday will begin with about 600-700 thousand doses.
By the end of the month, there should be about 3.8 vaccine doses in Israel.
Remember, every vaccinated person should receive two doses so that the amount is expected to vaccinate almost 2 million citizens.
Meanwhile, the director general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Hezi Levy, spoke with the directors of the hospitals and told them that there is no vaccination order yet.
It is not clear who will receive and how much.
But these are likely to be the big hospitals.
However, there is pressure from all hospitals to receive the vaccines at the same time.
In addition, in the first quarter of 2021 only Pfizer vaccines are expected. As you may recall, the FDA is expected to approve this week the vaccine of a modern company, which also has an agreement with Israel.
