Air pollution was first recognized by British justice as a key factor in the death of a girl: Ella Kissi-Debrah, killed in 2013 at nine years of age from asthma in London, a coroner ruled today of the London court of Southwark. She, born to a family of African roots living on the south-eastern outskirts of the capital of the Kingdom, died after being hospitalized 27 times in 3 years. The parents told investigators that they had never been made aware of the dangers posed by pollution to the child's health.
