An impressive fire developed this Wednesday morning at the Saba paint and solvent factory, located in the Buenos Aires town of

Loma Hermosa

, in the Tres de Febrero district.

The reasons that started with the fire are unknown.

There are four injured.

At the time of the fire, around 9 in the morning, there were two workers inside who, according to what turned out, were taken in a private car to the Bocalandro hospital, also in Loma Hermosa, with some burns.

Two other people had to be treated and transferred due to a nervous shock.

Firefighters from Tres de Febrero, Morón, San Martín, Hurlingham and La Matanza worked at the site.

The factory

is located on Churruca Street, between Berlin and Madrid

, just in the middle of the block, surrounded by private houses.

For this reason, the residents of the area decided to self-evacuate before the arrival of the security forces.

Then, with the arrival of the firefighters, "the residents of a humble neighborhood bordering the building were evacuated,"

one of the firefighters in charge of the operation, identified as Carlos,

informed the

C5N

channel

, who said that "the causes" of the attack are unknown. Sinister.

The work for the firefighters was made more complicated than usual because it was a factory full of flammable elements.

Even while they worked to put out the fire, explosions of the different products from the warehouse were heard.

The firefighters also

tried to contain the walls and not to collapse

.

The roof collapsed.

As a precaution, the electricity and gas were cut off in the block where the factory is located.

The black smoke that comes out of the fire is very toxic to the people around and is so intense that it can be captured, according to different users on social networks, from several kilometers away.

In Capital Federal, from a height point, it can also be seen.

In dialogue with A24, a neighbor in the area, named Juan, said that for a long time they have been asking

that this factory be moved to an industrial park

due to the risk of a fire with family houses in the vicinity.

Agustín, another neighbor and owner of a neighboring factory, spoke with

TN

and said that the houses next to it "were affected by the fire" and that they are concerned about the possibility of a collapse.

He also described the work of the firefighters as "incredible".

He also said that neighbors were told that "a container of solvent" was the one that caused the fire.

Another citizen of the area, Daniel, said that around 9 in the morning "explosions were heard and all the windows shook, it was horrible, it looked like a bombing."

He also revealed that neighbors made available "sinks for the firefighters to carry water,

but they did not have a pump to suck up

."
