2020-12-16T18:26:04.174Z

2021 will be a very busy year for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as in addition to producing documentaries, they will also host their own podcast.

Meghan Markle

and

Harry

continue to expand their experiences within the media, and now they announced a new project that takes them a little further away from the life they led as British royalty.

And it is that 2021 will be a very busy year for the Dukes of Sussex, because in addition to the agreement they reached with a video platform to produce documentaries, they also signed a contract with Spotify to

host

their own

podcast

.

This was recently revealed by the parents of little

Archie

, noting that their new project will aim to "build a community through shared experiences, stories and values."

Through a statement, Meghan and Harry detailed that they will make the

podcast

through Archewell Audio, a new company that the dukes have just founded, and under which they will produce several programs presented by them.

The first of these programs will arrive in early 2021, although we will have the opportunity to hear a small preview of their project thanks to the fact that this Christmas they will publish a special in which both will share with listeners, "stories of love and compassion" to celebrate the arrival of the new year.

"What we love about the

podcast

is that it reminds us all to take a moment and really listen, connect with each other without distractions. With the challenges of 2020, there has never been a more important time to do so, because when we listen and listen the stories of others, we remember how interconnected we all are, "the dukes said in the statement.

In addition, a small trailer was released to publicize the announcement of the project, and in the audio a brief interaction between the couple is heard, in which Harry mentions, "Shall we start? Ladies first?", To which Meghan He replied, "No, you say it, because I think it sounds great with your accent."

Given that brief introduction, Meghan goes on to explain, "One of the things my husband and I always talk about is our passion for meeting people and hearing their stories. And no matter what the story is, it usually gives you an understanding of where. Another person comes and at the same time, it reminds you in some way of your personal history. "

After this, Harry is heard taking the floor.

"And that's what this project is about, highlighting different perspectives and voices that you may not have heard before and finding something in common. When that happens, change is truly possible."

"This is also a time to celebrate kindness and compassion, something we saw in so many places this year, and which will be present in everything you hear from Archewell Audio," added Meghan.

"With all the challenges we have had to face in 2020, it has never been so important to do something like this," they continued.

"By listening to each other, by knowing the stories and experiences of others, we remember how interconnected we all are," they concluded.
