Facebook is working on a new video tool that will allow users to interact, for a fee, with content creators or celebrities during a live broadcast.
According to Bloomberg, the tool is called Super, and recalls Cameo, the app launched by Google in which celebrities publish video-answers to fan questions or send personalized video messages for a fee.
With Super, users could buy digital gifts or pay content creators and celebrities to "appear" next to them during a live stream and ask questions or selfies.
During the live broadcast, the former will also be able to sell products.
Super is being developed in a testing team of new Facebook products, the company would therefore be testing it internally.
Google's Cameo app launched in August 2018 was valued at $ 300 million in mid-2019, according to Axios.
On Monday, Facebook also made an update to Collab, an app launched in May that allows musicians to collaborate with fans on music.
