(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 19 - Bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors and pastry shops forced to close as required by the Christmas decree which comes into force today, will receive new refreshments for a total of 645 million euros.
Article 2 of the legislative decree approved yesterday evening by the council of ministers provides for new non-repayable contributions to support the operators of the economic sectors affected by the new restrictive measures for a maximum of 455 million in 2020 and 190 million in 2021.
The contribution is due to the VAT numbers that have already benefited from the relief provided by the relaunch decree for an amount equal to that obtained on the basis of the May dl and which cannot exceed 150,000 euros.
As with the previous non-repayable contributions, the refreshment will be paid directly to the current account by the Revenue Agency.
The Ateco codes that fall under the new standard are 'catering with administration', 'catering activities connected to farms',' catering without administration with preparation of take-away food ',' ice cream parlors and pastry shops', 'itinerant ice cream and pastry shops',' catering ambulante ',' catering on trains and ships', 'catering for events, banqueting', 'canteens',' continuous catering on a contractual basis', 'bars and other similar businesses without a kitchen'.
