"Queen, I'll call to make sure you make the right choice and get vaccinated."
My mother across the line said, "Ronny, of course, just tell me when."
She does not always listen to my health advice.
This time she, like many, saw me fighting to reduce morbidity, helping to build a national system for dealing with the epidemic and talking to the public and every person at eye level with sincerity and professional and human truth, and was thrilled.
Today we finally have, in our hands, the possibility of a revolution.

Exactly one year ago, the first corona patient was hospitalized in Wuhan, China.
Since then, the corona virus has spread all over the world according to all the extreme scenarios we could think of.
A virus so adapted to pandemic is indeed on a global scale;
Quiet and easy enough to secretly infect and spread, and severe enough to cause severe morbidity and mortality among chronic and elderly patients, and surprisingly and unexpectedly even among healthy young people.
The medical earthquake has caused socio-economic tsunamis all over the world, a real disaster whose impact will accompany us for many more months and years.
We now have hope of reducing the disaster.
The life we love so much as Israelis, has been taken from us.
We have forgotten, and some of us apologize that we are a company of hugs and kisses, crowded and family, lovers of weddings and parties, lovers of culture, leisure and holidays.
And inside we are proud of it and want to get back to it.
We are not built to the instructions of the corona.
So far, about 360,000 Israelis have officially contracted the virus, but this is only part of the real amount that has "quietly" contracted.
Especially important to understand, it's just a matter of time before every person gets infected and gets sick, even if in a quiet and hidden way, like the flu.
On the other hand, the wisdom and medical technology have not given up on this virus and within a record time of a few months have brought to humanity sixty treatment tools and a vaccine to put an end to pandemic.
At the Corona event we had to believe in our doctor, the nurse in the emergency room, the public health and intensive care doctors, Barbash, Blitzer, Shemer, Grotto and staffs.
They helped us, you during this time.
And they say, get vaccinated, take care of yourselves.
And like I said to the queen "I want to make sure you make the right choice ..." I tell you.
With all the responsibility I have "go get vaccinated".
