To receive the Pulcinella Award for the Preschool TvSeries category was "Lupin's Tales" (Xilam Animation, Maga animationstudio, Rai Ragazzi), "Topo Gigio" (Movimenti Production Srl) won in the Upper Preschool Tv Series category while "UrbanLegends" (KecskemŽtèlm Kft .) in Kids TV Series.
For InteractiveMultimedia Work awarded "Death Stranding" (Kojima ProductionsCo.), For Live Action TV Series "Endlings" (Sinking ShipEntertainment), for Pilot TV Series "We are family" (TeamTO), for Short film "The Snail and the whale" (Magic Light Pictures).
In the Feature Films section, the award for Best Film was assigned to "The famous invasion of the Bears in Sicily" (Indigo Film srl, Prima Linea Productions, Rai Cinema, PathŽFilms);
Best direction to Zabou Breitman and Eléa Gobbé-Mévellec for "Les Hirondelles de Kabul" (les armateurs);
Improved script in "Buñuel en el laberinto de las tortugas" (Sygnatia Sl);
Best Animation for "Arctic Dogs" (Ambi MediaGroup);
Best soundtrack and Pulcinella Ciak d'Oro at "Lava" (Crudo Films).
The Migrarti Awards went to the Iranian "Dreams in the depths" (Hozeye honari Kurdestan of Traovince), the UnicefAward to the Italian "Lightbulb and Candy in the magical kingdom of the Paws" (Animundi srl).
The 2020 edition of "Cartoons on the Bay" awarded the Pulcinella Lifetime Achievement Award to Altan and saw Guido Manuli and Don Bluth enter the Hall of fame of the Festival.
