In view of the departure of the pre-Christmas red zone, the Milanese (and not only) today flocked to the center to buy gifts and make a last toast with friends.
Many groups of children in the Corso Como area and also in Piazza Duomo, but also couples and families full of packages.
Several restaurants are also full at lunchtime with groups of colleagues or schoolmates and the outdoor tables of the famous bars for an aperitif are also crowded.
Queues have formed in front of many shops: from the Rinascente, in front of the Christmas windows, which for several days has mounted barriers to differentiate entrances and exits;
but also at Gucci and Vuitton in the Galleria, where the local police regulate the entrances.
Some short waits also occurred on the metro, where to respect the quota of 50% of the capacity, the entrance turnstiles to the docks were closed (for a few minutes) 150 times until 16.
