Eminem: "And with all my heart, sorry, Rihanna"

US rapper Eminem has apologized to singer Rihanna for misogynistic statements in a new song.
On the new album “Music to be Murdered By - Side B” with 16 songs, the track “Zeus” can be heard with the lines “And wholeheartedly, apologies, Rihanna”.

The text passage refers to a song leaked last year in which the now 48-year-old Eminem glorified violence against women.
He was sorry for this, it was wrong.
He didn't want to cause her any grief, they say ("For that song that leaked, I'm sorry, Ri / It wasn't meant to cause you grief. Regardless, it was wrong of me").
In 2019, the ten-year-old, unreleased song "Things Get Worse" by the Grammy award winner was leaked in which he defended a beating attack by Rihanna's ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
US rapper Brown (“Don't Wake Me Up”) was sentenced to five years probation and community hours in 2009 after a physical attack on Rihanna.

The singer from Barbados (“Diamonds”, “Work”) and Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, had worked together several times in the past.
Among other things, they recorded the joint songs "Love the Way You Lie" and "The Monster".
