In the US state of Alabama, an illegally operated winery in a municipal sewage treatment plant was blown.
Police discovered the operation after anonymous evidence in a building for sewage disposal in the city of Rainsville, as various media reported unanimously on Friday.
CNN reported that a large amount of wine and equipment was confiscated on Thursday.
DeKalb County police themselves have also reported their unusual find online.
The photos published by her show glass containers, buckets and devices that are used for blackburning and by amateurs for winemaking.
Sheriff Nick Welden said, "This is definitely one of the largest operations we have seen in our district and possibly our state."
Around 5000 people live in Rainsville, around 160 kilometers northeast of Birmingham.

Private winemaking is generally permitted in Alabama, but only for private use and in certain quantities.
You can't have more than 15 gallons of it in the house.
According to the police pictures, a significantly larger amount appears to have been seized in the sewage treatment plant building.
The police themselves claim to have found "large amounts of illegal alcohol".
