The Israeli vaccine against Corona:

Following the approval of the Ministry of Health, which is now given for the second phase of the Israeli vaccine of the Biological Institute in Ness Ziona and is being carried out at Hadassah, the CEO of Hadassah volunteered to serve as a participant in the blue and white vaccine.

Prof. Rothstein wanted to point out that he considered a lot if he had to serve as a personal example and get vaccinated with the vaccine that exists today in Israel, at the head of the Hadassah team, due to the great importance he attaches to the mass vaccine starting today in Israel.

In light of the fact that the rates of vaccination requests are high and in light of the high participation of the top officials in the operation, he decided to set a personal example as a participant in the Israeli vaccine.

To complete the clinical study of the Israeli vaccine, participants who are not so young and not so healthy are needed, hence the importance of volunteering.

Prof. Rothstein is very confident in the development of the Biological Institute and is aware that a quarter of the experimenters will receive a sham vaccine.

Therefore, he will adhere to the precautionary rules and will use the active mask that kills the virus, which is the result of a development by the Biological Institute, Tra Noble and Hadassah, so that its transmission to the virus will not be possible.

The Israeli vaccine - a snapshot

The second phase of the Israeli Institute of Biology's vaccine is currently starting at the Hadassah Ein Kerem, Sheba, Assuta, Ashdod, Ichilov, Rambam, Assaf Harofe and Meir hospitals, where 960 volunteers will take part. At this stage, the effectiveness of the vaccine in the production of antibodies to corona will be examined.

Towards the beginning of the second phase of the Assuta Ashdod Public Hospital, Dr. Erez Barenboim, the hospital's director general, clarifies that experimenters will not be denied the opportunity to be vaccinated with Pfizer's vaccine.

"The experiment has so far been approached by many dozens of candidates, who have sought to take part in a groundbreaking, blue-and-white procedure. The trial procedure will not impair any patient's opportunity and ability to receive Pfizer's vaccine, if and when interested.

"As long as there is such a request, the experimenter's file will be opened and if the experimenter received a placebo, he will be informed and will have the option to receive the vaccine. If it turns out that the patient did not receive the placebo but the vaccine, The need to get the vaccine, "he added.

The third and extensive phase of the experiment is expected to begin in April-May.

At this stage, up to 30,000 volunteers will participate.

This is the last stage, after its successful completion it will be possible to approve the vaccine and vaccinate the entire population.
