The National Council of the Order of Physicians (Cnom) launches a heavy offensive.

No less than six doctors are being sued by the Cnom, including well-known names.

Professor Didier Raoult and his colleague Christian Perronne appear in particular on the list of doctors targeted by these procedures, according to information from the Medical Press Agency, confirmed with Le Parisien.

The complaints were filed on December 10, we are told.

The director of the Marseille University Hospital Institute was already the subject of a complaint filed by the Society for Infectious Pathology to the council of the departmental order.

Other reports were returned to the latter, who decided, after hearing Didier Raoult, to vote in the Plenary Assembly to file a complaint.

He was criticized in particular for his multiple speeches on hydroxychloroquine, promoted without any scientific study demonstrating its real effectiveness.

This time, it was no longer the departmental order but the national order which launched its offensive.

Professor Joyeux also sued

Another famous personality targeted: Professor Christian Perronne.

On December 17, the management of the AP-HP announced that it had terminated his duties as head of department, reproaching him in particular for having asserted that Covid patients represented a financial boon for doctors.

"A general practitioner who declares a positive Covid test for one of his patients, [...] receives money", he affirmed in mid-October, still evoking a "jackpot" for the intensive care services which would maintain the care of patients in their departments.

A supporter of hydroxychloroquine, he also assured that the treatment could have saved some 25,000 lives during the first wave, without one ever knowing the origin of these claims.

The National Council of the Order of Physicians has refused at this stage to give more details about the grievances against the professors targeted by the complaints.

Among the latter is still Prof. Henri Joyeux, a retired oncologist who has distinguished himself in recent years for his anti-vaccine positions.

In October 2019, he had already been prosecuted by the Cnom for having conducted experiments on patients with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

The other doctors targeted are Drs Delépine, Zeller and Rezeau-Frantz.

The magistrates of the disciplinary chamber who will be responsible for examining these cases have a range of sanctions ranging from warning to final removal.

Difficult, at this stage, to know the precise timetable, when the hearings may not begin for several months.
