Covid-19 in France: 381 deaths and 11,795 contaminations in 24 hours

The latest report from Public Health France confirms the upward trend in the contaminations detected.

While the French have already taken the road to find their families, the latest assessment unveiled this Tuesday evening by Public Health France shows that the virus continues to circulate in the country.

The figures unveiled today confirm that the French will have to take their precautions and respect barrier gestures.

The number of contaminations, to begin with, continues to increase.

If the trend is also linked to the increase in the number of screenings, the fact remains that 11,795 new contaminations have been identified in the last 24 hours, against 11,532 a week ago.

2719 intensive care patients

The situation within hospital services remains more or less stable, as has been the case for several days now.

This Tuesday, 24,932 patients remained hospitalized in the country for contamination with the coronavirus, against 25,201 Monday and 24,961 Sunday.

Of this total, 2,719 patients present with a state of health that requires treatment within the intensive care unit.

They were 2737 Monday and 2745 Sunday.

At the hospital, 381 new deaths are to be deplored in the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of deaths to 61,702 since the start of the health crisis.

Of this total, 42,507 people lost their lives in hospital.
