(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, DEC 22 - The Trump administration has imposed sanctions on the wife of Syrian President Bashar alAssad, Asma al Assad, and on other family members.
All accused of obstructing efforts to end the civil war and reach a political solution.
The squeeze launched by Washington also concerns the central bank of Syria, one of the main advisors to the president, a member of the Syrian parliament and several companies linked to the regime.
