50 shades of green: on the verge of an environmental revolution in the IDF

About seven years ago, the IDF established the project I head,

"Army for the Protection of Nature - Commanders take responsibility for their environment"

(the result of cooperation between the IDF, led by the Technology and Logistics Corps, Ministry of Defense, Nature Conservation, Nature and Parks Authority) Antiquities), in order to help the IDF and its commanders to take responsibility for the preservation of the environment, nature, and heritage sites in the areas under its responsibility and in its operating environment.

The commanders and soldiers of the units go out to work in the unit area, receiving professional advice and guidance from the project partners, and also receive education and training content on environmental, nature and heritage issues.
