José Hernández
, the son of Mexican immigrants, had to work from a very young age picking fruits and vegetables in California and it wasn't until he was 12 that he learned to speak English.
However, his efforts would have a great reward, since with the passage of time he managed to study at the University of the Pacific and
years later he completed a master's degree in science and electrical engineering at the University of California in Santa Barbara.
It was so in 2007 he was selected by NASA to work with them.
But now José continues to make history, as he himself confirmed through his Twitter account that
he will soon have his own film, which will be produced by the Netflix streaming platform and directed by Mexican Alejandra Márquez Abella.

the astronaut wrote.
The script for
José Hernández's film was written by Bettina Gilois, who died earlier this year, however the script has already been revised.
