Changi Airport is considered the best in the world, and from time to time surprises here with various innovations.

For example, in 2019 a unique complex was inaugurated with a tropical forest, suspension bridges, experiential slides and also the highest artificial waterfall in the world.

All this, along with fancy shops, upscale restaurants and other indulgences.

But it turns out that even in Corona they manage to innovate here, especially when it comes to the global trend of "vacation without vacation" (such as flights to nowhere, virtual trips, etc.).

And so, these days the airport offers the opportunity to spend a night there, inside a luxury glamping tent.

Thus, anyone who missed vacations in the world this year is invited to withdraw $ 269 from his wallet, and win an escape that is somewhat reminiscent of the long-awaited escape abroad.

The price includes a picnic kit

The glamping tents were set up especially for Christmas, and are decorated and adorned accordingly.

They are set up in the airport’s shopping and leisure complex, and each offers a luxurious king-size bed.

The price of accommodation includes a discount on purchases in the shops in the complex, and also a cool gift: a unique picnic kit.

The project, called "Glamping in the Clouds", allows up to four people to stay in a tent, alongside tall ficus trees growing in the airport area.

You can also choose tents located in a rainforest, which is also planted in the port area.

However luxurious as they may be, the tents do not offer en suite bathrooms and toilets, and guests have to make do with the airport's existing infrastructure.

And if you thought the price was too expensive, you should know that as of now, all orders have been snatched up soon.

"Usually, we travel abroad on every holiday, but since it's not possible to travel much now, and the school holidays have already begun, I thought we would provide our children with a slightly different experience," said Padlina Musa, one of the guests at the new complex. Anwar Malek, adding that "the epidemic was tough for us, so tents Hglmfing brought a good opportunity to go out."

site Insider reports that Singapore registered so far 58,461 cases of infection the virus corona and 29 deaths alone. It was also noted that the residents of Singapore banned Fly to most countries of the world. However, it seems that the desire to experience a sense of abroad, is quite high.

This is also the reason why in September Singapore Airlines announced that it was considering offering "flights to nowhere" that would take off from Changi Airport - and also return to it after the flight.

However, the plan was abandoned, in light of many objections expressed by environmental activists.
