“The distribution is going to be done between the weekend and Monday.

And on

Monday or Tuesday

, which is to be defined,

start the

coronavirus

vaccination

in all provinces at the same time.

Let no one cut itself.

The senior source from the Ministry of Health who spoke with

Clarín

took for granted what had not yet happened at the end of this note: that the Anmat recommended to the Ministry, in writing, the use of the Sputnik V vaccine, and that, consequently, The portfolio led by Ginés González García will authorize it via ministerial resolution.

However, everything indicates that

both the approval of the Russian vaccine and that of AstraZeneca would take place this Wednesday

, as happened in the last hours with that of Pfizer.

The 300,000 doses of the Russian vaccine that will arrive in Argentina this Thursday (supposedly at 10:30 am) will be distributed by the

Andreani

company

, "according to the

percentage of the target population

."

According to the source consulted, the distribution "will be absolutely fair and transparent."

The province of Buenos Aires and the City of Buenos Aires will take almost half of the doses:

Buenos Aires, 123,000;

CABA, 23,100

.

These 300,000 doses are "dose 1".

That is, the first of the two that each person must apply to acquire immunity to the coronavirus.

These developments occur in a context in which certain

informational gaps

with respect to the Sputnik V vaccine

dominate

. Although the Government informed this newspaper on Tuesday that in the last hours they had received conclusive documentation on phase 3 of the trial, with favorable results in a population of

18 to 87 years old

, this is information that neither the Gamaleya Center nor the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) released for now.

The age thing is not minor.

After the media short-circuit generated by the questioned effectiveness of the vaccine in people

over 60 years of age

 (generated, it is worth saying, due to lack of accurate information) it is important that the Government have details (apparently, confidential, for now) about a proven efficacy in people up to 87 years.

And it is an indication that perhaps the Anmat, in the recommendation that, it is presumed, will give this Wednesday, gives the

green light to use the Russian vaccine in the 18 to 87 age group

Regarding the participation of the private mail company Andreani, it was detailed that "it

made the donation

for the distribution of the 300,000 vaccines that come from Russia, and it will also make the donation to distribute those from

AstraZeneca

."

For those, however, there is a long way to go: they would only arrive in

April

.

Transportation will be done in

refrigerated trucks

.

That is, by land throughout the country.

The operation, step by step

The step by step will be like this: the operation will begin in Ezeiza and will continue in

Avellaneda

, a town where Andreani has a warehouse.

As

Clarín

already reported, the boxes with the ampoules will be inside containers called

Thermobox

, refrigerated with thermogel bags, from the

DHL

company

, capable of keeping the vaccines at 18 degrees below zero for

96 hours

, that is,

four days

.

Then, already at the weekend, the doses will be transported to the jurisdictions;

punctually, the mail company will leave them in the

deposits determined by each province

.

This includes the city of Buenos Aires.

"In many provinces it is a single deposit, but, for example, Santa Fe chose that we leave the vaccines in four different deposits," they detailed from Health.

Everything should be as fast as possible.

The source consulted explained that, "in this first stage, as it is a learning moment and to avoid unforeseen events or errors, refrigerated trucks will be used, apart from the fact that the vaccines come in refrigerated boxes that last for a certain time."

These are the containers in which Sputnik V vaccines against the coronavirus travel.

In the City Health portfolio led by Fernán Quirós, they confirmed that they will use the

Oneto refrigerator

, located in the Constitución neighborhood, and clarified that from there they will distribute the doses to

all public and private health establishments in the City

.

The

recipients

are the same in all the provinces.

This was told in the Buenos Aires area: “The first doses of the vaccine will be applied to

emergency

and

intensive care

personnel

.

It is the prioritization that Nación lowered to the entire country ”.

As for the province of Buenos Aires, the portfolio led by Daniel Gollan will withdraw the doses from the warehouse in Avellaneda, and will distribute them throughout the wide Buenos Aires territory through the logistics operator determined for the occasion: Correo Argentino.

The division

There are

297,000

doses that will be distributed in the 24 Argentine jurisdictions.

There will be a remnant of 3,000 "just in case", that is,

back-up

.

According to the detail provided by the Ministry of Health, in addition to the

146,100 doses that will remain in the Buenos Aires-Buenos Aires radius

, the provinces that will receive the most doses are, logically, Santa Fe (24,100), Córdoba (21,900), Tucumán (11,500), Mendoza (11,100) and Entre Ríos (10,100).

They follow, in order from "more" to "less" doses, Salta, with 8,300;

Chaco, with 7,700;

Corrientes, with 6,700;

Santiago del Estero, with 5,900;

Missions, with 5,200;

San Juan, with 4,700;

Jujuy, with 4,600;

and Río Negro, with 4,400.

The Aerolineas Argentinas plane that left for Russia on Tuesday to search for the first batch of vaccines against the coronavirus.

Finally, Neuquén will have 3,600 doses;

to Formosa, 3,400;

to San Luis, 3,300;

to Chubut, 3,000;

to Catamarca, 2,800;

to La Rioja, 2,600;

Santa Cruz, 2,400;

to La Pampa, 2,300;

and to Tierra del Fuego, 1,300.

Health personnel nationwide oscillates one and a half million people, so that in this first round

20%

will be covered

.

But it should be remembered that this Thursday only "half a vaccine" will arrive in the country: Sputnik V includes two doses (to be administered 21 days apart), whose composition is not identical.

As reported by this media - and contrary to what the national authorities had said on December 10 - this Thursday

only ampoules of the number one dose will arrive in the country

.

For the second, we will have to wait for January.
