Covid: 18,040 positive, 505 victims. Over 2 million cases in Italy

With 18,040 positives in the last 24 hours in Italy

the two million cases recorded since the beginning of the epidemic

according to data from the Ministry of Health.

They are now 2,009,317.

The registered victims are instead 505. Yesterday the positives were 14,522, the victims 553.

In total the deaths since the beginning of the epidemic are 70,900.

The currently positive are 593,632 (-5,184), the recovered and discharged 1,344,785 (+22,718).

Patients in intensive care for Covid-19 in Italy have decreased by 35, in the balance between entries and exits, according to data from the Ministry of Health. The admissions of the day are 149 (yesterday 216). In total, 2,589 people are now hospitalized in intensive care. The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are instead 24,070, down by 476 units compared to yesterday.
