Thursday, 21,634 new cases had been reported to Public Health France.

But this number included "the catching up of data of the day before which could not be counted in the base".

In total, SARS-CoV-2 claimed the lives of 62,427 patients in the country.

2616 patients in intensive care

This Friday, 24,359 patients remained hospitalized in the country for coronavirus contamination, against 24,639 on Thursday. Of this total, 2,616 patients present with a state of health that requires treatment within the intensive care unit.
