Three people were slightly injured in an explosion in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
According to the police, a vehicle exploded at 6:30 a.m. (local time).
It is reported to have been a trailer.
The local police wrote on Twitter that they assumed a deliberate act without giving details.
Pictures from the city showed billows of smoke and broken windows.
Several buildings were apparently damaged by the shock wave.

the police is said to have been at the scene before the explosion because the parked vehicle was reported as suspicious.
An officer then called a bomb disposal team, but they did not arrive in time.
The injured were taken to a hospital.
The mayor and emergency services said they wanted to publish more details about the incident later that morning.
