The host is launching a new program this Saturday evening where he slips into known shows, films or series. A technical feat and

Last Friday, in one of the annex buildings of TF 1, Camille Combal's small team alternated between excitement and relief, as the well-deserved end-of-year vacation approached.

The day before, its members were finally able to present "La Grande Incruste" to the management of the channel, before its broadcast this Saturday at 9.55pm.

"It's a marathon with a sprint at the end", summarizes Delphine de Groulard, artistic producer of the show.

Because to put together this new program composed of parodies, in which the host invites himself in known shows, series, films and clips, the team had to face many unforeseen events, without ever giving up.

“The idea for

La Grande Incruste

came to us in February, with the desire to offer it in May.

Filming began immediately, with a second sketch scheduled for March 17, my brother's birthday… and the first confinement, but it's more anecdotal, ”jokes Camille Combal.

The shooting being forced to stop, the program is then postponed to the end of the year.

On air every day during this time with "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"

», The host continues in parallel with his team to write new texts… even if it means having too many for one evening.

“In quantity, we wrote the equivalent of the Harry Potter saga!

», Jokes Abdoul Ndongo, co-author and artistic director.

"Louane was adorable"

Once the confinement has passed, several obstacles have upset the team's plans: schedules postponed or even canceled, parallel recordings of "Mask Singer" and "A Golden Family", new confinement or, at the end of autumn, the host's positive Covid-19 test 48 hours before a shoot requiring a major device already installed.

Until the last moment, everyone had to adapt to these unforeseen events on a daily basis.

“We had to rearrange the schedules and start postproduction while we were finishing shooting,” says the host, who worked non-stop with his team to meet the broadcast date.

Another constraint: the availability of the (many) guests of this "Grande Incruste".

“Some have become more cautious after the first confinement.

For others, it was necessary to play with the agendas.

We wanted to shoot a sequence with Louane who said yes right away, except that she only had 90 minutes available to shoot 5 sequences, with different outfits.

She was adorable and changed in the middle of the street to respect the schedule!

», Reveals Delphine de Groulard.

Others were added at the last moment, taking advantage of the changes in the agenda, like Claude, emblematic candidate of "Koh-Lanta", in the role of an adventurer annoyed by the cheating of Camille Combal and Max Boublil.

"In the end, all those we wanted to have responded", says the host, who was able to count on the participation of about thirty personalities, such as Vianney, Mike Horn, Sylvie Tellier, Wejdene, Ingrid Chauvin, Jeff Panacloc, or even Fred Musa.

"This show is a real team spirit"

With the approach of the diffusion, all hope only one thing: that the public appreciates this first “Large Incruste”.

While waiting for the public's feedback, the team does not hide having been amazed by the talents of the host, who connects as many characters as there are sequences throughout the evening.

Camille Combal, he praises especially the work of his collaborators, faithful to the post.

This show is a real team spirit, ”summarizes the one who now wants his youngest to entertain a maximum of viewers after this very special year.
