    A song is sung

In the last hour, the cultural institutions in Israel have joined the international movement "Red Light" - to raise awareness of cultural institutions in the shadow of the global corona crisis.

This is an independent initiative in which over 100 cultural institutions in Israel are illuminated in red, a reading and reminder of this and hundreds of thousands of people - creators, technicians, illustrators and workers in what for almost a year have longed to return to their profession.

In recent months, similar moves can be seen around the world, including of stage workers, illuminators and technicians whose field of culture has also frozen in their countries, illuminating cultural institutions in red.

Tonight, as mentioned, lighting and production people joined together for lighting designer Nadav Barnea, who chose to remind the world how much culture is part of the fabric of life for all of us.

Among the cultural institutions illuminated in red: Habima National Theater, Beit Lessin Theater, Cameri Theater, Israeli Opera House, Holon Meditech, Beer Sheva Theater and the Goodman Acting School in Be'er Sheva, Ghetto Fighters Museum, Tel Aviv Municipality, Haifa Theater, Tel Aviv Hall of Culture, Rishon Lezion Hall of Culture, Carmiel Hall of Culture and other institutions.
