The American Ryan Cochran-Siegle in 1.56.63 was the fastest in the first timed test in view of next Monday's cdm descent on the difficult Stelvio track in Bormio and followed on Tuesday by a super-G.
Second time for the Norwegian Aleksander Kilde in 1.59.21 and third for the Austrian Matthias Mayer in 1.59.24.
Best blue Christof Innerhofer with the 10th time in 2.00.87.
For Italy there are Matteo Marsaglia 12 / o in 2.00.96, Davide Cazzaniga 16 / o in 2.01.36 and Emanuele Buzzi 20 / o in 2.01.47.
Further back instead in 2.01.99 Dominik Paris, who on this track has won six times, in search of the necessary ease after the injury in January.
A second and final test is scheduled for tomorrow, with clear skies and very cold weather. For the two days of competition there is instead the unknown bad weather with the weather announcing heavy snow.
It is thus assuming the advance of the super-G to Monday by moving the descent to Tuesday or the use of Wednesday as a competition day.
