The death toll from the plague is 3,203.
The number of active patients in Israel is 34,996.
The number of staff members in solitary confinement stands at 2,861 people including 411 physicians and 768 nurses.
Meanwhile, starting tomorrow at 5:00 PM, the full closure approved by the ministers will take effect.
According to the regulations, there are restrictions on staying in public space, restrictions on traffic and restrictions on commercial, recreational and leisure activities.
The closure will apply for two weeks and will be extended by another two weeks unless the goal is achieved - the daily number of infections is less than a thousand and the infection coefficient is less than one.
The regulations restrict traffic to a distance of one kilometer from home, except for a few exceptions: going out to get vaccinated, medical or social care, demonstration, legal proceedings, going out for sports activities, transferring a minor between his separated parents, going to a work place or educational setting, and going out for funerals. At a wedding or alliance (subject to the crowd limit).
Each such violation will result in a fine of NIS 500.
Accommodation units and B & Bs, a zoo, a nature reserve safari, national parks, national sites and memorial sites will also be closed;
