The first doses of the Covid-19 vaccine arrived on French territory on Saturday morning.
The 19,599 doses contained in 3,900 vials were transported in special cases on board a refrigerated truck from the Pfizer plant in Puurs, Belgium.
They were stored in “super freezers” on their arrival at the central pharmacy of Paris hospitals, before being sent to Sevran and Dijon where the first vaccination campaigns are due to start on Sunday with elderly volunteers.
