Covid-19 in France: 173 new deaths and 2,650 patients in intensive care

In hospitals, the number of patients treated is climbing slightly.

This Sunday, 24,620 Covid-19 patients were hospitalized in the country, against 24,444 Saturday and 24,359 Friday.

In the intensive care units, 2,650 patients with severe forms were admitted there.

They were 2,640 on Saturday and 2,616 on Friday.

In the last 24 hours, finally, the health authorities have recorded some 173 deaths linked to the new coronavirus, against 146 on Saturday and 159 on Friday.

Since the start of the epidemic, 43,525 people have lost their lives as a result of the disease in hospitals.
