In Saint-Etienne, meal deliverers get a guaranteed hourly minimum from Uber Eats

This agreement was put in place in Saint-Etienne after a strong mobilization of delivery people. It does not apply to other meal delivery platforms like Deliveroo.


This is a first victory for the food delivery men.

After strike action in December, couriers in Saint-Etienne obtained a guaranteed minimum hourly wage from Uber Eats.

The online meal delivery platform is committed to guaranteeing an hourly minimum of 10 euros for races carried out between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and of 12 euros for those carried out between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., provided that a minimum of two trips are made. within the hour and achieve a proposed order acceptance rate of 85%.

Uber Eats would also have agreed to restore a "

rain bonus
