Dominique Delport leaves a media group that he helped diversify to reduce his exposure to advertising.

The information leaked just before Christmas: Dominique Delport will leave the presidency of international activities and revenues of Vice Media, a position he had held since May 2018. The former journalist of M6 and especially the former manager of Havas and Vivendi ( of which he is still a member of the supervisory board) leaves

"with the feeling of a duty accomplished",

after two and a half years of a mission which consisted in restructuring and diversifying the well-known media group of 15-30 year olds.

Originally a trendy Canadian magazine, today a major producer of web and TV content well established on all continents, Vice Media is the most important “pure player” in the world.

It is three times more powerful than a BuzzFeed, claiming an audience of 350 million people per month, via its site, its mobile apps or its TV.

The group does not communicate its turnover but it is now estimated between 650 and 700 million dollars.
