Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have released their first lengthy podcast with other celebrities.
The couple let their guests have their say in the episode published on Tuesday on the streaming provider Spotify.
"We want to honor the compassion and kindness (of people) who have helped so many people get through," Harry says at the beginning of the 33-minute episode.
And Meghan adds: “And at the same time we want to honor those who have experienced uncertainty and unthinkable loss.
We thought of you. "
The biggest surprise, however, is a brief appearance by their son Archie.
Towards the end of the episode "Happy New Year", the one and a half year old boy seems to repeat his parents and laughs happily.
Before that, a number of well-known personalities reflect on their past year - and their hopes for 2021. Among them are the British pop star Elton John, the Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka and the US politician Stacey Abrams.
A newly founded production company by Meghan and Harry had entered into a multi-year partnership with Spotify.
In a two-minute clip published on December 15, the couple first advertised their new engagement.
After the special holiday episode, a full season is expected in 2021.
Harry also thinks about human interaction at the end of the Corona year.
“As we look into the future now at the end of the year, we should remember what we have learned about the importance of taking care of one another;
how important our connections are, even if you cannot meet personally. "
