(ANSA) - MILAN, DEC 29 - La Scala in Milan has organized a concert to celebrate 2021. In this particular year it is an equally special concert, which will be instreamed on January 1st at 11 am on the theater website and on its Youtube and Facebook channels and will remain visible for a week.
This is the second of three virtual concerts created by Scala for the little ones with the mini series 'WolfgangAmadeus and the great musical fairy tales'.
The first Pierino e il lupo - with the reciting voice of BeboStorti and Giacomo Poretti - went on stream on December 25th and has since been seen by 72,000 people.
This second appointment includes in the program Ilcarnevale degli animali di Saint Saens and Eine kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart, with Giole Dix as narrator. The young Korean director Eun Sun Kim will conduct the orchestra of La Scala in chamber version, while for the last appointment on 6 January with the tale of Babar set to music by Poulenc will be Angela Finocchiaro the narrator.
The fairy tales, made with the collaboration of vocirecitanti, have an introduction by Nicola Savino, the scenic coordination by Lorenza Cantini and the lights by Marco Filibeck, while the scenes have been enriched by the graphic fantasy of the set designer Angelo Lodi on December 25 and will be by the designer Riccardo Sgaramella January 1st and 6th.
