Since then, the young couple commented that they already had almost all the preparations to reach the altar, which they had planned to do in February 2021, although it seems that the date will be postponed.

At least this is what Alexia revealed with an image shared on her Instagram account, where she points out that they have decided to postpone their link due to the delicate situation that the country is experiencing, derived from the COVID-19 pandemic.

With a photo in which she and her fiancé appear walking hand in hand through the countryside, the Guadalajara revealed that their wedding will take place in September next year and not in February as they had planned.

In addition to this image, Alexia shared a message in which she explained why they made this decision.

"Because COVID-19 is still out of control, we have decided to change our wedding date so that we can fully enjoy our big day." 

It should be noted that this publication shows the date of September 4, 2021, so everything indicates that that day will finally be when both say "yes, I accept."

Although the young couple want to become husband and wife as soon as possible, they preferred to put aside the celebration with a big party, and instead they will take care of themselves and their own, especially because in the families of the couple there are members who belong to the vulnerable population whose risk is greater from COVID-19.

The decision to delay the wedding comes less than a week after Alex Fernández and Alexia Hernández celebrated 10 years of courtship, as they announced on December 24.

To commemorate that date, the son of "Foaly" shared a photo on his Instagram account, where he appears with his beloved on a romantic evening.

When the couple got engaged in September, the groom rented a heliport in Guadalajara, where he decided to ask her the big question.
