Armando Manzanero had been hospitalized in an emergency on December 17.
The Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico, of which the Mexican was president, reported that the artist "was being treated in accordance with established protocols."
Unfortunately, the composer of 'This afternoon I saw it rain' lost his life days after his daughter María Elena revealed that Manzanero had to be intubated because he continued to have trouble breathing.
Before leaving, Armando Manzanero revealed the last wish he had with his loved ones and his daughter María Elena, he shared it with his audience.
"We put up a notebook for him so that when he has time he can perhaps write something, because he is very uncomfortable being alone, he is a very positive man," said María Elena in an interview with the television program 'Ventaneando'.
