The photo challenge that breaks the web has managed to break singer Billy Aylish's Instagram in a slightly less positive sense, and all because of a bit of nudity - and not even hers.
The mini-drama took place in the last two, when Aylish decided to take part in the photo challenge that has been flooding the web in recent days, where many surfers (and of course quite a few celebs) upload different photos at the request of their followers.
Aylish (19) was asked to upload a screenshot of her screensaver and of a painting she particularly likes.
In both cases, Aylish chose to upload photos that featured drawings of a female body in full nudity.
Aylish joked that she chose to upload these pictures because she likes the female breast, but apparently the joke less listed a significant portion of her followers, and these were quick to take the most serious and dramatic step of all when it comes to Instagram - and removed followers.
How serious was it?
In less than an hour, Aylish lost close to 100,000 followers, dropping from 73 million to 72.9 million (but in the meantime managed to climb back, for the benefit of those who were concerned).
Many followers noticed the sharp drop and posted tweets and comments on Instagram about it.
Aylish herself also addressed the issue in a post she posted to her story, but she seemed to take the matter lightly and not get excited: "Rolling with laughter. You're like babies. Shaking my head," she wrote, adding skull emojis.
This is not the first time that Aylish, who only celebrated her 19th birthday about two weeks ago, finds herself in headlines that are not in the musical context.
In October this year it was hit by a severe network attack after a paparazzi photo of her in a tight tank top was posted online, creating a wave of mocking reactions about her body structure.
