“As of today in Nice, we are launching the vaccination campaigns in advance,” explained Christian Estrosi on France Inter, who had made the request publicly on Monday.

One week in advance, according to the town hall, vaccination will begin at the Nice University Hospital, then continue next week in retirement homes (nursing homes then independent homes), before being extended at the end of January by age group, starting with those over 65.

On the pre-registration platform set up by the municipality, 10,000 people are already registered outside nursing homes, said Christian Estrosi.
Elsewhere in France, the vaccination campaign started on Sunday only concerns nursing homes.
